The biennial conference provides a forum for discussions and networking opportunities among teaching staff, researchers and producers of forest and bio-based products and acts as a catalyst for new research and development, and applications for manufacturing industries.

The PTF BPI 2018 conference builds upon the previous successful editions held in Kuchl/Salzburg, Austria (2010 and 2014) and St. Simons Island/Georgia, USA (2012 and 2016).

This conference is a combination of the practical and scientific experiences of industry leaders in the plenary sessions with additional concurrent sessions by academic and industry researchers.
