Travel information
Arriving by train
The S3 train departs every 30 minutes from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof heading towards Golling/Abtenau, with a stop at „Bahnhof Kuchl“ (please do NOT exit at „Kuchl Garnei“).
The travel time is approximately 32 minutes. From Kuchl station, it takes about 15 minutes to walk through the town via Leisenweg or Jadorfer Straße to reach Campus Kuchl.

Arriving by car
Via A10 Tauern Autobahn:
Coming from Salzburg, take the „Kuchl“ exit and turn left towards Kuchl. After approximately 2 km (just before the traffic light at the town entrance), turn left onto Jadorferstraße. After 500 meters, turn right at the Holztechnikum Kuchl to reach the FH Salzburg building.
Coming from Villach, take the „Golling“ exit, then turn left onto Salzachtal Bundesstraße and continue through Golling towards Kuchl. After about 6 km, you will reach Kuchl. About 100 meters after the traffic light, turn right onto Jadorferstraße, and after approximately 500 meters, turn right at the Holztechnikum Kuchl to get to the FH building.
Arriving by plane
To travel from Salzburg Airport to Campus Kuchl you can follow these steps:
by public transport:
Take the bus line 2 or 10 from Salzburg Airport to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof, board the S3 rapid transit train towards Golling/Abtenau. The train ride to Bahnhof Kuchl takes approximately 32 minutes. Upon arriving at Bahnhof Kuchl, exit the station and walk about 15 minutes through the town via Leisenweg to reach Campus Kuchl.

by taxi:
You can book a taxi directly from Salzburg Airport to Campus Kuchl. The travel time is around 30-35 minutes, depending on traffic.
